Through stitch-lines, zippers and a mélange of layered fabrics my work questions the integrity of edifices and membranes. Houses and vestements often become extensions of our organism, the boundaries of our bodies writ large. Using a diverse array of media including acrylics, oils, encaustics, quilting and embroidery, the scarred and mortared bulwarks and the waistcoats of our personal comfort and preservation are explored.
