Ruptured Planes: Espace Pierre Debain,
20 of March to the 5th of May 2019
Rupture Planes depicts the porous, shifting, and multilayered topography of the sky and earth; through paper making, pulp painting and traditional embroidery techniques it maps the delicate and ever changing plains. The openings on the surfaces of my work may portray craters left by asteroids, leaky enclosures permitting precipitation, or portholes allowing the exploration of what lies beneath the earth's crust or above the clouds.
A Big Thankyou to the City of Ottawa for my Production Grant
