Retrievals and Alterations revisits side characters in the biographies of famous artists and as well black sheep of my own ancestry.

 

My Great Aunt Doreen did repairs and alterations for Eatons. In this series I retrieve figures of the past to repair or alter the story told by the cameraman, the artist or the historical narrative. To aid me in this task I employ some of the same tools as my aunt; needle, thread and fabric.
